Does anyone know how quickly someone can withdraw cash from their bank if they get a paypal payment.

I believe they can do it immediately.

Thanks squonk and april. My DD1 needs a loan but I'm nearly sure if I transfer funds to her bank account there is a delay before she can withdraw the cash. I just wondered if it would be quicker to do her a paypal payment.

If your bank has a telephone banking service, you could ring them and ask them?

usually takes 5-7 working days (depending on your bank) to withdraw money to your UK bank.

I never thought of that squonk, I'll give them a call.

why not use Western Union??

I'm in England she's in Scotland, would western union work? She needs the cash as soon as possible.
