DD (12) has been into chemistry and biology for quite a while but in a hands off 'watch and read about' way but she's just starting to get interested in doing more hands on stuff and really wants a microscope for her birthday, a usb one so she can look at things on the laptop screen and do screen captures. Trouble is I've no idea what kind or where to get one from.
DD was looking at cheap ones on Amazon but we borrowed one from a friend and the resolution wasn't good at all, especially at 350x and DD was quite disappointed so I'd like to get her a good quality one but preferably no more than £80-£100 if possible - can you get a good one for that budget, or a second hand one?
