get there early (very early!)

take something to cover your stall in case it rains!

if selling games/cd's etc, it may be wise to just put the empty cases out as we have had people stealing ps2 games etc.

I find it easier to price up some items then people can either pay full price or bargain with you. Some people just don't like to ask prices and therefore wander off and if you are really busy, it is simple for them to see the price. For clothes, I tend to use a rail and I usually ask £1 per item or 6 items for £5. Agree get there early and be prepared for other stallholders to start looking into your car when you pull up so they can buy your stuff and put it on their stalls for more! I try to ignore these people and they usually walk off when another car parks! It can be a lot of fun and it is amazing what people buy. At my last boot, I made over £100.
