Please help - I'm really worried!

I remember a thread on here where a MN'er took some photos of a xmas play and spotted a child had one red eye and one white in the photos and it's a sign of a brain tumor.

I have just had some photos developed of my ds and he has one red eye and one white in some of the photos but I can't find the thread.

Can anyone help find it - or does anyone have any info about this?

Yes I remember this, not from this site but from 'This Morning' with phil & fern, They had a feature about it, it is a sign of a tumor, I'd go straight to the hospital/GP

Do you have a polaroid camera?

Take another picture.

The red that you see can sometimes be the blood vessels in the back of the eye. Was you ds 'face on' to the camera, and did both eyes 'catch' the flash?

I didn't read it on mn I'm afraid, but I read about this, or a similar one in a paper or magazine a week or so ago.

I THINK the mum took the photo to the doctor, who referred them to a specialist.

From what I remember of the picture, it was a really BIG white spot on the eye, not the normal reflection spot that you often get.

I am sure that someone with more experience, or who remembers the thread will be along soon, in the meantime, try not to worry too much (although I know that's easy enough for me to say)

Hope everything works out ok.

we have looked at more pictures and in those he has 2 red eyes. he was not face on to the camera in the one with a white eye. waiting for the dr to call back
