ROFL!!! Very funny

I used to have loads of records - can't remember what I did with them all. I bet they would be worth a small fortune now - had all Michael Jackson's...

They are cool records, saltire, ESPECIALLY on original vinyl.

Pixel · 09/03/2007 23:21

I haven't got many records as the albums went missing during a house move but there are a few singles in a box in the garage. They are all deeply embarrassing, among them are Wired for sound (Cliff Richard), Senses working overtime (XTC), Stop the cavalry (Jonah Lewie) and the theme music to The Professionals.

But, I also have Thomas O'Malley (The Aristocats) in its original sleeve (shame about the felt-tip) which could actually be worth money.

Oh oh, and The song of the Diddymen. That must win the embarrassing prize surely!

saltire · 09/03/2007 23:23

Thank You UD, I also have the Kings of the Wild Fronteir album - brilliant album.. I got Adam and the Ants CD for Christmas and demonstrated the "Prince Charming" dance to the DSs and MIL on christmas night after several glasses of wine. DH left the room!

UnquietDad · 09/03/2007 23:23

Pixel, no, no!! XTC and Jonah Lewie are deeply cool. And that's far from being the worst Cliff Richard song. I reckon the Professionals theme has a certain kitsch value too!

cerys · 09/03/2007 23:23

saltire, I have those too, but they are up in the loft so God knows what condition they are in.

joash · 09/03/2007 23:23

I did once own a Barry Manilow album until the move ... then I actualy parted with it and donated it in a pile to some unsuspecting charity shop

saltire · 09/03/2007 23:25

UD I went to an 80's night dressed as Adam Ant with a tipex strip across my nose. needless to say I couldn't get it off and had to go into work -In an old people's home run by nuns- with it still on my face

UnquietDad · 09/03/2007 23:26

I bet that scared them! Most people at my school used chalk for their Adam Ant Moment, from what I recall...

ImaWurzel · 09/03/2007 23:26

does anyone remember N.K.O.T.B?

kimi · 09/03/2007 23:27

ADAM ANT WAS COOL
