Ok we know what we sob to but how about songs that make us smile?

Time of my life, last dance at my wedding and engagement.

Nothings gonna stop us now, first dance at my wedding.

Raining in my heart DS1 used to sing this when he was about 3, "but its raining raining in my arrrtttttt.

Take That - Shine

James - She's a star
Offspring - self esteem

mollymawk · 09/03/2007 22:38

Haapy Heart by Andy Williams (although I think it may have been the theme tune to Shallow Grave so perhaps not so cheering after all)

eidsvold · 09/03/2007 22:39

gangajang - this is australia

secret love by doris day - dh played this for me as his subtle way of telling me he was interested in me

Paul Kelly - sat night sun morning.

"yummy yummy yummy I've got love in my tummy and I feel like lovin' you-hoo" because dd1 sings it with a really pronounced you-hoo at the end.

"twinkle twinkle" because dd2 has just started to sing it all.

Happy Hour by the Housemartins because my bestest ever mate and me used to listen to it on the pub juke box when we weren't old enough to be in the pub.

fryalot · 09/03/2007 22:42

and "Blue Moon" because when the Man city supporters sing it, they always sing "without a dream in my aaaaaaaaaaart"

Sunchyme - Dario G

Just so summery, can't help but jig about.

And more recently 'I don't feel like dancing' by ScissorSisters...

kimi · 09/03/2007 22:48

I used to work in a pub that did karaoke and one of the blokes used to sing brown eyed to me every week, and someone else used to put mbop on the dukebox every time he came in to drive me mad, oh happy days
