PLEASE can someone explain what 'bump' means on MN?

just draws attention to a thread the poster thinks is being missed or ignored

means to keep topic at top?

it just brings up your thread to the top of active convos

also known as bring up my post

it is a way to 'bump' your thread to the top of active convos..if you are urgently wanting an answer, or attracting someones attention..or are being impatient

either type 'bump' or a '.'

It mean bring up my post.
Putting it on a thread means its 'bumped' back into active convos.
