Stompa do fabarooney cabin beds (I think they do bunk beds too) but they are much money.

paulaplumpbottom · 06/03/2007 17:17

Great Little Trading Company have one that turns into single beds when they get too old to bunk

DrMarthaMcMoo · 06/03/2007 17:17

Stompa

Twiglett · 06/03/2007 17:21

can't get into stompa site I'm afraid

DrMarthaMcMoo · 06/03/2007 20:33

That one's cool, Twig - it says £339 though...where did you get £1200 from? Bargain, I would have said if it is £339.

DrMarthaMcMoo · 06/03/2007 20:34

Here's another Stompa stockist - don't know why their own site won't work

hana · 06/03/2007 20:34

the single bed is 340, the bunkbed option is £1200!!

SturdyAngel · 06/03/2007 20:35

The one that Twiglett found is £339 for single bed option... £1200 for bunk beds! Lovely though

Twiglett · 06/03/2007 20:35

it says from £339 (I was excited too) until you click on the options box and find out that's for 1 bed .. but for the whole shebang its £1200

OP posts:
Twiglett · 06/03/2007 20:36

and that excludes mattresses

We have this which is very sturdy and can become 2 singles. A bugger to put together though (comes flat-packed).

DrMarthaMcMoo · 06/03/2007 20:38

Ach, that devious little "from" - I didn't notice it either. How annoying.

Ikea?

DrMarthaMcMoo · 06/03/2007 20:41

I don't know if you can put another bed underneath this one - I love the canopy thing

DrMarthaMcMoo · 06/03/2007 20:42

I don't think you can - it is proper bunk beds you want, not just a cabin type bed?

anniebear · 06/03/2007 20:46

can I just ask, looking at a link at the beginning...who would buy a bed with a slide on the side????

I can just hear it now ...yell ....."Get back into your bed"

lol

Twiglett · 06/03/2007 20:47

the man from da other couch .. he say "no"

well actually he say "£1,200 are you feckin' joking, they've got beds already" but that doesn't work with the del monte line

Just been looking at that Stompa site - I have always hankered after a Stompa bed (I'd like one, never mind the kids) and I found this . Lol - ideal for those people who haven't room for a third child

Twiglett · 06/03/2007 20:54

bloody hell .. can you imagine how high off the ground that top one is

OP posts:
DrMarthaMcMoo · 06/03/2007 20:56

Yeah, but did you notice it says "please check ceiling height"? They wouldn't be able to bounce off the top if you had the right height of ceiling - they'd have to crawl in through the gap. No good for claustrophobic children.
