After trying unsuccessfully to buy something on line from a very well known high street retail firm, I thought I should give them some constructive feedback on the website (which is not great). But once you are 'in' the survey, and this survey was rather long, you can't escape from it at your own convenience. As (my!) family life proceeds in unpredictable jumps, I had to abandon it during the rather tiresome and detailed statistics section about what category of person I am so all my well intentioned material will now be lost. Is this bad survey design? Or am I not a serious enough survey participant?!
