What other web sites do mumsnet people find of interest, I find myself going into the same one's over and over again and would be interested to know of any other web sites as good as this one.

What sort of things are you interested in or do you just mean other parenting boards? This is the only parenting message board I read on a regular basis, I tend to read a fair few blogs (okay, a lot of blogs). Some blogs written by parents I enjoy are:

DotMoms
Mom In The Mirror
My Boyfriend Is A Twat
Speaking As A Parent
The Purple Pen
Turquoise

Other things I read:

Salon
The London News Review

Can give you loads more blog links if they're your thing, but don't really want to drown you in loads if they're not

Oh, you mean there are other websites apart from Mumsnet, Amazon and Hotmail, then?

I did shop with asda on line when we briefly lived in London and miss it madly. It was the excitement of being able to order a colanderor a new garlic press and get it delivered with the minderla water, SMA and nappies. How sad am I?!

Tanzie · 26/06/2004 22:24

Or mineral water, even...

GeorginaA · 26/06/2004 22:31

Very (quickly skirting the fact that I do as much shopping online as I can get away with ... I hate going into town)

MeanBean · 27/06/2004 15:07

Sorry, what's blogs?

GeorginaA · 27/06/2004 19:35

Blogs is short for Weblogs - I've heard lots of definitions and there are lots of different types, but it's basically a webpage that is updated regularly (daily/weekly). It can just contain links to things the owner has read and found interesting/amusing or it can be a full blown online journal (the latter are the ones that interest me most). They can be discussions on politics, issues that concern them, or just comments on their day or a mixture of everything. Most of the better ones have a common theme throughout and are extremely well written. Some can only have one author, some can have several. Some have guest writers when they're away. Quality varies!
