nasty nasty virus

I know there've been loads of threads lately about computer virus but I've not found anything on them which helps me. I'm infected (sounds nasty!) with 2 bugs one's called worm donk?! and the others called startpage. Everytime I find something online to eradicate them they prevent me from downloading it. I can't access symantec or anything from my computer and the virus won't let me update norton in order to get rid of them. If anyone can help I would be eternally, eternally grateful!

can you get on to hijack this page? They might have advice.

Have you tried running Panda online virus scanner? This picked up and (more importantly) removed stuff that Norton missed because the viruses targetted Norton and stopped it working properly.

Hi soupdragon, thanks for the link. I ran panda which located 5 viruses but has not got rid of them. How do I do that without having to pay? I've wasted all day doing this and i'm getting close to putting the computer through the window
