Moving to birmingham

Hi

We are relocating to Birmingham and I was hoping for some insight into where is best to live with 3 children. We are moving from a part of London that I love so a bit worried about the move. Looking for good schools, nice parks and friendly community. Wondered about some of the larger villages outside Birmingham? I'm used to walking everywhere so smaller villages probably wouldn't be great for me.

Thanks in advance. X

Alright! (It's a Brummie hello)

I live in south Birmingham and love it here. You tend to either love the south of the city and never venture into the north or vice versa!

Kings Heath, Moseley, bournville, Harborne are the bits of the south that people tend to love. Then in the north it's Sutton Coldfield/Wilde Green areas to the north.

Slightly further out is Lichfield (good train links o the city and a liveleg place to live. Really lovely actually)

Bearwood is pretty cool over the border on Sandwell-near Harborne.

Worcester is also lovely.

Do you need to think about primary or secondary schools? What about a commute?

Happy to chat.
