i know that the time you hvae in which to register a birth in scotland is different but what else. What info are you asked for when you register a birth and if yo make a mistakelike i did registering a birth in england how do you put it right

Hi. Can't remember much about this (youngest is now 6) but you may find what you need to know here

You get 3 weeks to register the birth. I think you need your marriage certificate or your dp to be there if you are not married and want his name on the certificate. You also need money - less than £10 IIRC
