Now that DS sticky eye has cleared up, I'm thinking about having some nice photos done of him. I recently went to Boots and they're advertising Pixie Photo sessions. Has anyone done this and were you happy with the results. It seems quite cheap but I probably haven't read the small print.
Let me know your views.
Many thanks
Wellsie

Have had them for both DS and DD and was really ahppy with them. The original offer is really cheap, and you get a good size picture from it. They take other photos too and you can choose to buy them or not, and IME they are not TOO expensive (not if you compare things like Venture) and you don't have to have them - though I have to admit that the ones of my two were so lovely I bought loads

had the free ones done for ds - never bought any extras as they were imo v expensive - c. £50 upwards for a pack and you couldn't just buy one or two, had to have the whole pack. I got vouchers for the free ones in my Bounty bag.

I have used them 4 times now, and have always bought loads. I have now used up all the vouchers that came in the Bounty Pack.

They are going to be in my local Boots in a couple of weeks time, and I will probably get DD's pics done again as it will be just before her birthday.

We have had keyrings each time and have 3 triple frames as well. The second lot were not as nice so we only got 2 or 3 poses rather than all of them so it was not worth getting the triple frame then.

As you can tell I love them. A definite THUMBS UP here.

We've used the PixiePhoto offer at least 4 times now and have been really pleased with the results each time. The extra photos are a bit pricey IMO so we've often just had the photo mentioned in the offer. The same company also did ds1's photos at pre-school. The photos were cheap (less than £20 for the full set) and we bought the lot!

I've used Olan Mills . They do a 'Watch me grow' offer for £24.99 for 4 sittings and you get a free 10 x 8 with each sitting and no obligation to buy anything else.

We had an excellent photographer and the piccies are gourgeous so I'm afraid we spent an extra £100. But we got 6 pictures in all which I thought was quite cheap.
