I'm off out for the evening. I am not brimming over with enthusiasm. I would rather have a nearly night, but ho hey hum.

Been to DS2's parents evening. Super proud of him. Making progress. Still struggling with some things but making progress which is important. Confidence has increased massively too.

Need to do some reading homework with him, and some more spellings. Also has a project to do for Friday. Dishes to be done. He needs a bath or shower. Then bedtime. Have to remind DS1 re homework and then drag him off his laptop. DH has gone out. Super.

The At Home Version has just been screaming and crying at me and calling me names for about 20 minutes. I'm now deaf in one ear. If he'd started his reading when I first told him to, we'd nearly be finished by now. Instead he's done one page and we've got about 13 to go. DH is going to have to do some tomorrow with him. You know, before he goes out again.

Am waiting for DS' morning playdate to arrive. Is lovely weather here, so I may drag the pair of them out for a walk. DS always winges when I take him for a walk - might go better with another small person the chase and run about with. Then we're out for an afternoon playdate with a different Xbox friend and more swimming. (Yesterday's involved a floating obstacle course, which caused much entertainment (and falling into the pool))
