Morning. DS has been packed off to school in costume after the predictable dramas and wobbles that he somehow hasn't done it right and will be the odd one out. (He once turned up for a non-uniform/dressing up day and he was the only one dressed up. We had to go back home and change. This experience seems to have scarred him for life.)

Last night, much to my bemusement, I went to check on him before I went to bed, and he wasn't there... turned out he had transferred himself to our bed I asked him this morning and he looked a bit blank, then remembered that he'd woken up and wanted to ask me something so he got up and went to snuggle with me in bed. But he didn't notice I wasn't actually there and obviously fell asleep again pronto. Daft child.

Mouselets are doing well.

Well babymouse isn't putting on weight and is skinny as a rake as he has many other priorities that aren't eating. Toddler is doing fantastically and his talking is coming on in leaps and bounds. Mr Mouse is not great. His mental health took a crash and hes now being seen as an outpatient at a mental health unit. But he's better than he was. I am muddling along and keeping it all together somehow.

We watched Broadchurch. At last something that's easy to understand and doesn't have a convoluted plot that makes my head hurt.

Also watched the 1066 thing. I hated history at school failed my 'O' level but I love this sort of stuff now. Nothing at all to do with the HBFs.
