DS and DH (who are both fine) do wierd things with apple and golden syrup and cream. Don't get me wrong - I'm quite open to doing weird things with apple and golden syrup and cream (and Athos). Just not involving pancakes. Or DS, obvs.

DH says his thumb is surprisingly fine, thankyouallforasking. (Certainly better than the time he sliced it open while chopping kindling with the hatchet - that was an A&E stitches job.) DS says his ear is fine too - long may that last.
