Anyone know how to system restore

I need to restore my computer to a past date before damage was done, i have forgotten how to do this. Anyone know how? I have deleted something that i really need back. Thankyou

yes sweetie, go into start, into Programs in to accessories, in to system and restore should be there, then instead of create, click on restore from a previous date.

I have managed to solve the problem in another way, i had no restore points for some reason, i did last time. Could i have deleted those too? How do i make some more???? Thanks Ronnie x

The system should make automatic restore points, did you go back through the pages of the calendar?

There is an option there to create a restore point ? do one before making any changes to the system such as installing new software. If you use the internet a lot it is a good idea to also make regular (maybe monthly) restore points in case you get a virus/worm.
