Can I ask what happened when zombie helped out the mnetter?

huevos I vividly remember that thread.

I'm such a lurker. In real life as well as here. I watch the big group chattering away and making jokes and I rarely pluck up the courage to join in. Zombie has been a constant on these boards. I've seen her name so many times over the years and I have read through each one of these wonderful, heartwarming threads.

Diamonds as I recall, the thread got pulled as it gave away too much identifying info about the OP, and it then couldn't properly be discussed afterwards as it was a TAAT... but Zombie had a stuff and nonsense attitude, I seem to recalll, and just said she was a grown woman who could make her own decisions, take risks as she chose to, and it was all alright now, stop fussing

for Zombie and her family and friends.

But basically, all was fine, she met with the OP and got her where she needed to be :)

In USA and got sudden urge to go check out the sky. It's a tad hazy out there, so not sure if I'd be able to see a host of dancing and singing angels on the lookout for you, Zombie. I suspect that haze is from all the rollys and candles.

Tonight I started to learn to crochet in your honour. I'm afraid it wasn't very good and I got stuck at the chain bit. I got some very strange looks from the family but I shall persevere. I think it will be a very long process.

Zombie MrUnborn, DD1 and my mam (who's diagnosis you helped me deal with) all send their love. You don't even have to speak to people to have touched them in someway

💐 But when you speak out you make a huge impact. I wouldn't have got through the early days of my diagnosis (not cancer) without you. I posted under a different name because I needed the anonymity & the space to fall apart. You were part of the group of MNers who both let me fall apart & helped to pick me up again. One of MN's quieter gems 💐

You've touched so many lives Zombie. I'll never forget sitting up waiting for updates when you went to help out that MNetter and how in awe of you I was for putting yourself so far out to help someone that needed it.
