Chewingawasp - Sorry you need a Candy's Hug but glad that you feel hugged. I'm in awe of people who have managed to send in squares already. I was about to slosh some bailey's into my milky coffee but have run out - don't know if that will help with my knitting tonight or not.

Finished square no5 today and deleted the address where to send them! Stupid or what!!!

I've just seen a FB update- unfortunately Zombie has taken a turn for the worse.

Hi everyone, I am afraid Candy has taken a very bad turn for the worst and is on a lot of morphine and unable to speak.

I've been by her side stroking and kissing her hair and forehead and she is smiling every now and again and doesn't seem to be in pain anymore. I have wished her sleep well and said goodbye for tonight. Sweet sweet dreams Candle I love you xxx

I am so glad that, despite everything, Zombie can still smile her beautiful smile. So much so that even though my eyes seem to be leaking, I'm smiling too.

I hope tonight is peaceful and pain free for you, Zombie.
