My Gran lives at the other end of the country from me and so while she is recuperating from an operation, I'm going to do online shopping and send it to her.

Her bill is never a whole lot - what are the minimum charges for supermarket orders? If I need to send an emergency pint of milk and loaf of bread at any time, does anyone accept an order that small?

I'm real old fashioned and still insist on going to get it myself - your help is appreciated!

I could be wrong but I thought there was a minimum order of £40 and there will be a delivery charge on top of that.

Have you looked at agencies or private companies that supply meals or essentials for the elderly? It maybe cheaper and may be more useful.

Milk&more is fab for that if she still has a milkman in her area. They deliver all sorts with the milk now.

you can send it but you will have to pay an extra delivery charge
