Very dodgy emails

I have recieved what I imagine to be highly illeagal images (children etc). Is there anywhere I should be forwarding them to?, or is the best thing just to delete them ?

I wouldnt delete them, do you know where they have come from??? or forward to [email protected] (if you use yahoo for your email) or what ever the equivilant would be

Well I can see the supposed address it has have come from.

I do use yahoo.

I would call your local police station and tell them. I don't think you can just delete them and do nothing.

report it to yahoo and also save them into a seperate folder, may also be worth you contacting your local police station (i know I would)

Definatly contact the police - if youn delete and they trace them, it makes you look guilty... besides, they can trace where they came from and help crack down on this sort of thing.

Well Ive looked at the full headers and it seems to be from a yahoo source of some kind so I guess forwarding tp the would be a good start.

wurlywurly, is the address you give for this kind of thing specifically or just crap email you dont want?

I would call the police asap, these disgusting images are now on your pc, cover your back.

If you delete them they're still somewhere in the hard drive, so you should def cover your back.

Your email providor will contact the police, as it's their responsibility.

If you delete emails from internet mail sites, they aren't saved on your hard drive. unless you saved the photos. Don't worry too much, you did the right thing.
