Hello people i need quite urgent advice. Because of many different reasons my husband, our daughter and I are declared homeless and placed in council temporary accommodation waiting to be housed. I am originally from other country and just found out that due to long illness my beloved grandad died. We have enough money for now so me and my daughter could go for couple of days for funeral. Now my question is if anyone knows if as we are technically homeless can i make such a trip, would that affect our application? Of course first thing in the morning I'll call council but I was wodering if anyone knows something about it to ease my mind?
