They did a very good job of tidying up after themselves. Who knows what they will get up to next though? Why not join us and find out?

I've evicted Tinkerbelle from MY bed. >

The kettle has just boiled so it's time to prepare a hottie and retire to said reclaimed bed.

Cries I can't keep up with this thread. Or MN. Or RL in general, there is just too much

Allalonenow · 13/01/2017 01:21

Get to bed Zombie sleep tight.

Hearts mop up your tears, have you got some cake to eat?

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 13/01/2017 01:27

Have a good sleep lovely Zombie

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 13/01/2017 01:28

Allalone now that you mention it, DD2 made some cherry cupcakes. Not my favourite but they will do in a crisis.

Lifegavemelemons · 13/01/2017 02:55

Well done on the job unborn and welcome to the zombiekids. My dd is going to Iceland in the spring, I'd better warn her about the price of drinks! Shock. Hope you get a good night's sleep zombie - I've done my usual trick of falling asleep in front of the TV and now being wide awake when I've come to bed - gives Biscuit to self.

HerRoyalFattyness · 13/01/2017 09:21

Well dd waltzed into nursery and didn't even say goodbye!

UnbornMortificado · 13/01/2017 09:50

Zombie told you cats are bastards (in a nice way) hope you got back to sleep ok.

Fatty Grin DD2 does that to me, not a backward glance. She cries if her stepdad (of 7 months) drops her off. I wouldn't take it to heart (easier said then done)

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/01/2017 10:01

The sheet story's so sweet Somer How innocent you are! GrinHalo

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/01/2017 10:05

I love that epidemiologists have studied that! It's very Sheldon.

HerRoyalFattyness · 13/01/2017 10:07

unborn I shouldn't have been surprised really. DS1 pretty much did the same
He actually gave me permission to leave! Grin
Here she is with ds1. He looks very grumpy. Probably because I insisted he have his picture taken.

Zombie has her hospital bed so the Phalanx had a sleep over.
BathshebaDarkstone · 13/01/2017 10:29

Fatty mine still don't at 5 and 9! HmmWine

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/01/2017 10:31

Unborn to paraphrase Terry Pratchett: it's only to be expected. They're cats. Grin

HerRoyalFattyness · 13/01/2017 10:32

Hmm children are lovely. We do everything for them and they can't even say goodbye!
DS2 keeps asking for dette dette (DDs name is Bernadette) he's very confused and keeps running into the kitchen to check if she's in there!

Susiesoap7 · 13/01/2017 10:33

Lovely pic royal so cute! Hope you are all warm enough, I've got some snow but not much. Wondering if I should brave it to shops or is it too icy! Hate snow n ice. Hope you are warm enough zombie 🤗🤗

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/01/2017 10:34

Z sleeping with cats sounds similar to sleeping with a 5yo human! Grin

Somerville · 13/01/2017 10:35

Aww, sweet children. Smile

Hope your bed was warm and comfortable, Zombie.

Oh I would like to claim innocence Halo but it was more utter cluelessness. Grin I was used to the married-for-15-years shorthands for sex - like that look when you're in front of the children, or "meet you in bed in 10 minutes...'' texts. Not hints to arrange kids another sleepover with grandparents by going on about my soft sheets...

UnbornMortificado · 13/01/2017 10:36

That photo is lovely. You DD's such a little dot bless her.

HerRoyalFattyness · 13/01/2017 12:39

She's had a great morning. Playing in the sand, drawing pictures and being a dinosaur Grin

startingtheengine · 13/01/2017 12:59

Zombie hope you had a restful night and the cat's behaved themselves.

Unborn congratulations on the job. Being able to talk shite is a very important qualification Grin

HRF glad your DD had a lovely time. My DS has gone back to crying at drop off since going back after Christmas; I would much prefer him to run in and wave me off.

Anyone snowed in? DS is most put out that we have none as he's desperate to build a snowman!

HerRoyalFattyness · 13/01/2017 13:15

starting it's tough for them after a break, confuses them.

DD has just climbed on my knee and said "DD needs to go bed"
Me: "why are you tired?"
Demon: "mm hmm. I had busy day"
Bless her!

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 13/01/2017 13:52

HRF that is so sweet.

Unborn when do you start the new job? Congratulations!

All the cat owners (or vice versa Grin ) amongst you. Can you tell if a particular cat (by breeding or disposition or... I don't know what) is going to be good at keeping the mice at bay? We are wanting to get one as a lovely family pet but I am hoping a positive side consequence will be help keeping our little visitors under control.

I seem to remember whipping my norks out for married at the meet up last spring. So classy.

cozietoesie · 13/01/2017 14:02

In my experience, one that has feral or semi-feral in its ancestry. One that has had to either do it for a living or has been taught by its mother, anyway. They're the best.

cozietoesie · 13/01/2017 14:03

You whipped out norks at a meet? Grin

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 13/01/2017 14:21

Only to show her my general sagginess and badly fitting bra Grin
