They did a very good job of tidying up after themselves. Who knows what they will get up to next though? Why not join us and find out?

Ah. Grin

UnbornMortificado · 13/01/2017 15:03

Hearts I start training next Friday for a week. It has come with a sacrifice, I am having to forgo my acrylic nails.

Probably sensible what with doing catheter training...

IamtheZombie · 13/01/2017 15:48

Tinkerbelle and I shared the bed quite peacefully last night. She got up and immediately went and settled on the side of the near my knees. I wouldn't like to go so far as to claim I trained a cat but... This afternoon, the bed is hers.

The wind wasn't peaceful though. It came through in bursts. There was a light dusting of snow first thing this morning but it soon melted.

Today I have managed to eat a banana, keep my hottie topped up and that's about all.

Your bed looks so cosy zombie

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 13/01/2017 15:57

She's not daft Z, she knows she has to fit round you or she'll get turfed off.
Hope you slept better as a result.

Hearts most of the mice we used to get in the house were the ones the cats brought in!

UnbornMortificado · 13/01/2017 15:59

Your bed looks fab.

Nope sorry I don't believe the cat has been semi "trained" Grin

I saw your early morning FB post, hope you get a full night soon. I'd rather have a solid hours then wake up on the hour for 8,

Mummylin · 13/01/2017 16:15

Zombie, I love your blanket !! I hope my squares look as pretty. My wool came today , in the hour and a half I was out !!! Bloody typical , now I can't get it until tomorrow.
Hope you are now getting better nights sleep.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 13/01/2017 16:40

Zombie your bed looks lovely and cosy. I am so pleased you are finding it comfortable. Your Woolly Hug is gorgeous.

AcrossthePond55 · 13/01/2017 17:00

Mmmmm, looks lovely-comfy, cat and all. Your blanket looks like summer.

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/01/2017 17:13

Congrats Unborn Star

In the Sainsbury's café, the DC just had supper, I'm waiting for them to have 20 minutes each on DS2's tablet. Smile

cozietoesie · 13/01/2017 17:42

The bed looks wonderful - and she clearly thinks so. Smile

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 13/01/2017 18:16

I seem to remember that The Powder Room was used for Hearts whipping out of norks.
Some people were quite happy to get hoiked and prodded in the garden Grin

Was great.

Sorry no pics!

Allalonenow · 13/01/2017 18:20

How lovely to see your woolly hug being enjoyed so much Zombie! Grin
Lovely colour combination, is that the effect you are hoping for in Candy's Hugs? Fab if so!

Hearts sounds as though you need might something like a Maine Coon or a Norwegian Forest cat.

Susiesoap7 · 13/01/2017 18:54

Bed and cat look very cosy, I completed my first square today and it was an inch too big so I might have to send it to zombie cat for a little blanket! I feel your pain mummylin that happened to me, mine arrived yesterday. The colours are gorgeous 🌈🌈

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 13/01/2017 19:43

Susie check with Knotty and Pistey before you reject your square, I know that they and their joining team can achieve miracles with different sized squares.

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 13/01/2017 19:45

Just popping in to say hi

That blankie does look lovely

Fiderer · 13/01/2017 20:52

Am still awaiting wool though the wonderful K&P told me it's been dispatched. Lovely blanket Z (am worried my efforts will be v dull in comparison - but will be made with love) (and needles)

FidBoy1 has come home from Frankfurt for the weekend after his 1st week's work placement/internship thingy. Was lovely hearing him greeting his sister affectionately and the way they chatted. He's 19, she's 14 (and often horridly teenager)

Makes me think I did something right with them (even if their dad's an arse - court issues again)

Good luck with the new job Unborn Flowers

Susiesoap7 · 13/01/2017 21:19

BBB I was gonna send the square in case it could be used for something. Have you started on yours yet? 👶

Susiesoap7 · 13/01/2017 21:34

Think we should have another sleepover on zombies new bed? 🤑

Lovelybangers · 13/01/2017 21:43

The blanket makes all the difference for a cosy bed.

Looks v colourful.

Football on tv here
Yawn.

So I am mumsnetting amd 'helping' DS pack for his return to Uni tomorrow. Sad

UnbornMortificado · 13/01/2017 21:54

Hope Tinkerbelle and Maisie allow you a decent nights kip tonight Zombie Flowers

Thank you, it will feel nice to be useful again.

bookbook · 13/01/2017 21:55

Evening!
All well it seems everyone. :)
Susie - on the actual thread, someone else was worried that their square was too small, and K & P replied it was fine - a bit big, a bit small, they are all useful, they can pull them into shape !
James Bond film here - hate to think how many times we have seen them all. But good to knit to !
Lovely - I remember DD going for the first time - I think I cried nearly all the way home from taking her.. By the second year , I was sad, but gave out a sigh of relief to get the house back...
