They did a very good job of tidying up after themselves. Who knows what they will get up to next though? Why not join us and find out?

Our café doesn't open until 8! Envy

MrsMozart · 21/01/2017 07:54

Good morning sweet Zombie and the Phalanx. Hope all had a good night.

BathshebaDarkstone · 21/01/2017 07:57

I really should have shares in Sainsbury's and the café! It's the only affordable shop for miles, I buy clothes, DVDs, books, toys, I have no need to go anywhere else.

I can't eat breakfast when the DC do on school mornings, but I'm starving by the time we get to school, and the café's addictive! Grin

OhTheRoses · 21/01/2017 07:57

Let the shopping begin ........ hopefully zombie is all tucked up and sound asleep and someone will take her a cup of tea when she's ready for it.

-3 here at 5.45, rising to 2 in central London and dropping to -4 by the time I got back at 7 ish. Nice and light now.

lovely news to hear Unborn
I hope you are okay Z , comfortable , with someone on hand to care for you .
I am now off to do my duty, helping out at our local Horticultural Society shop. The exciting news is that the seed potato order has arrived, they will be queueing out of the door!

UnbornMortificado · 21/01/2017 09:35

Zombie I hope you've had a comfy night. With any luck they have cracked the extra good drugs out. Flowers

Ta you lovely lot.

(There's a massive back story which I shan't bore anyone with. This is my last go and it's very much fingers crossed hoping for the best scenario)

Susiesoap7 · 21/01/2017 10:20

Morning all, better name for potus........duck fart!!!!

PotOfYoghurt · 21/01/2017 10:28

Unborn! Congratulations! The new ranks of the phalanx are being forged!

Everything crossed for you Flowers

Somerville · 21/01/2017 10:33

zombie Good morning and gentle hug.

Unborn Congrats my dear and please blow some of that baby making magic over in my direction

Book Tokaji is my favourite too. Not just for the taste - it was the reason I snogged Mr Somer on first date, blowing his painstaking plan to take things verrrrrry slooooow so as not to not scare me off out of the water. (Knowing me much better now, he's learned that taking things slow would have bored me. So thank God for Tokaji making me brave!)

PotOfYoghurt · 21/01/2017 10:37

You can't hide your crossed out lines from us Somer!

Mummylin · 21/01/2017 10:43

Zombie, I hope that you had a far more settled night than you have of late. It must be exhausting when you feel tired but can't sleep because of pain. Hopefully your meds are now being adjusted and will soon be doing their job more efficiently.
I'm sure you have other people to chat with in the hospice, which will also be lovely for you, to have some company. Flowers

Phalanx as a verb - that's genius Fids Grin

UnbornMortificado · 21/01/2017 11:16

Somer theres twins on DH's side, if there's two in there I shall gift you one.

The thought of two DD2's make me feel a bit faint.

saffronwblue · 21/01/2017 11:19

Hope you have had a lovely sleep z.

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 21/01/2017 11:42

Morning all! Wish I could say I've had a lovely morning, but I've been taking DD1 to ballet and dealing with a poorly 8-month DS2. Am v v jealous of the nearby cafe, Bath, although it's probably just as well for both my waistline and my bank balance that I live rurally although that doesn't stop me from scoffing packs of the children's Iced Gems!

Unborn, massive, massive congrats to you and I shall duly send lots of positive thoughts your way. I too have rather a long and boring backstory which I shan't bore you with, but I have been in a similar position and am here if you ever need to offload.

Fid, I am thinking suitably ratty thoughts your way in the hope that Herr Rat bites Arse Ex good and proper. Do any of your DS's possess a flute or, dare I say it, a recorder that they could use à la Pied Piper?

Zombie, I do hope so much that you are resting comfortably and managed some decent sleep at last. You are in my thoughts. Flowers
