We were given a bottle as a gift and kept it for years until we dared to open it and taste. Fell in love. But dear lord , its expensive..We opened a bottle at Christmas , but you don't get much when you have to share < looking at you DH and Son in Law> they come in rather small bottles !

-10°C here. Had to go to shop with FidGirl last night. I suggested a diet of wine would suffice & am sure there's something in the freezer. But she insisted we buy fresh food. Some fool of a mother must have drilled that into her. She also pointed out FidBoy1 is back from Frankfurt for the weekend & eats more than one can imagine.

Have been listening to Cabin Pressure on Audible so introduced her to the Game where you can only use words of one syllable. "Do you want white stuff with red fruit grown on the ground?" = Strawberry yogurt. Chicken was harder.

She's been off school sick & a bit glum but we enjoyed ourselves hugely & was lovely to see her laugh.

Morning! Lazing in bed until the DC wake up. Will go to the Sainsbury's café for breakfast as early as we can manage it. I should pay my mobile phone bill.
