Delurking to say I'm so glad the hospice has a bed for you Zombie. Dfil spent time in a hospice and the support he and the family got was tremendous. Hoping they soon sort out the pain for you and you get to enjoy some complementary therapies too like dfil did.

I've just seen, I'm so pleased you have gotten a place.

A bit rest and being looked after not to mention getting the pain meds sorted will do you the world of good.

I am so pleased to read this Zombie. Now you will be truly cared for , which is just what you need at the moment. Once they have worked out your pain control and fed you up a bit, I'm sure / hope you will feel a lot more comfortable. We will all have you in our thoughts and will pray this will be a positive move for you. I hope it's not too long before you can get back home.would you like to recieve any cards from us ? The relief you must feel at knowing you have this valuable help must be enormous.

Dropped the DC off, bought them DVDs, looked again for DD's jumper, really Sainsbury's head office needs a kick up the arse, in the Sainsbury's café having my large caramel latte, just finished my scrambled eggs and bacon.

I think we have to wait for Zombie to say it's ok. I remember when she was in hospital she was overwhelmed with loads of gifts etc which was too much for her and the hospital staff. So the next time she went in she requested cards only. We will obviously do what Zombie says.

There have been quite a few of us, but it wasn't just the phalanx sending stuff.we can only be guided by what Zombie says. If we can send cards I think the postman will be extremely busy 😀
