Thinking of you Zombie and sending vibes for the pain to lessen and the hospice to have a place. Also for a nice place for the Zombiecats to go to.

Very sorry to hear you're in such pain.

The best thing would be a stay in the hospice as soon as absolutely possible. As lin said, they can monitor you properly, sort out your meds and feed you properly which will help everything.

FX a bed is available for you soon.

I think you're being very sensible about the pusscats , I'm sure someone will give them a lovely home, maybe even an MNer

Fingers crossed for the bed, Zombie. I remember a university friend visiting his Mum just after they'd got her pain meds right, and she told him that it was like flying on fluffy cotton wool. She said it was the best feeling ever.

Dear, Dear Zombie. I so want to come right over (with or without the Phalanx!) and make it all better for you, and dear Zombie Cats. As we know that can't happen, I shall pin all my hopes on a bed very, very soon for you, and a special extra loving forever home for the cats. Very sensible, but oh so difficult to do.

Zombie ask the GP for a care package. Also try MacMillan. You need someone in daily to get food for you. If you were anywhere near me/ourclient then I'd happily do it. Please call them tomorrow.

Zombie I have lurked on a number of your threads and you are an inspiration. I hope you get a hospice bed soon even though it will be so hard to leave. Fingers crossed the zcats get a new home. They have been so lucky so far to have you.

So sorry you're in such pain, Zombie. A friend of mine spent some time in a hospice and they were fantastic at pain control. In fact, every aspect of the place was impressive. I do hope they get a bed for you soon.

We can't help with the pain (MagicMed aside) but I do hope, lovely Z that you take some comfort in how many people are thinking of you & wishing & willing you all the best.

I wish I could have Tinks & Maisie for you, but I'd never have a cat here, the main road claims far too many of them.

I have my fingers & toes crossed there's a bed for you at Hotel Hospice very soon so that they can get your meds sorted out so you're pain free.

I love your cleaner, I hope they can get her more hours/days for you.
