They did a very good job of tidying up after themselves. Who knows what they will get up to next though? Why not join us and find out?

Why what happened BBB?

Fiderer · 18/01/2017 02:52

BBB - not sure I want to know tbh Grin

Ratty - All quiet the last few days but then again whenever I think that, he comes back. I really must move the washing baskets out & check he hasn't gone to RatHell but it's 3am so obv can't do it now & have no gin so obv can't do it now & am weedy so obv can't do it now.

And bin the walnuts. My lovely old neighbour gave me a sack which my rodent visitors seem to mistake for food in RodentHotel. Are several scattered around.

Cat intervention not possible alas as FidGirl reports her friend's cats refuse to leave house. Don't know anyone with useful dog. There was a man from the council at school for meeting with the Head. H was late as always so I kindly made man coffee & brazenly explained rat issue. They do nothing. Cheered self up by then moaning about wild boar in garden. He eyed me as though he thought I am loon Forrin woman & then the Head arrived & the YouTuber was due so I left.

All go here in ArseEndForrin.

Fid if he were in rat hell your nose would tell you.

Hope you have slept well Zombie or at least rested well.

Still dark, but the birds are singing here and I can see the outline of the trees which would put a spring in my step except (in namby pamby Surrey) it's -6.

BathshebaDarkstone · 18/01/2017 07:23

-6????? Shock It's -1 here in Fulham.

Marcipex · 18/01/2017 07:39

It's more like +10 in Devon

Morning all from soggy Devon. The birds are singing extremely loudly.
Zombie, hope you had a reasonable night.

OhTheRoses · 18/01/2017 07:50

The car says -3 now. View from the windscreen.

So Baths is this Sainsburys you go to so often the one near Wandsworth Bridge. Aah old times.

Zombie has her hospital bed so the Phalanx had a sleep over.
BakeOffBiscuits · 18/01/2017 08:22

Am a lurker who just wanted to send best wishes to you Zombie Flowers.
I hope the visit from the hospice lady goes well today.

bookbook · 18/01/2017 08:50

Morning
Hope you have had a quiet and comfortable night Z
the world seems upside down today - -6º and then -3º in Surrey? when here it is 5º in Yorkshire? It is odd. After retiring last year, DH and I have determinedly tidied and emptied the garage, so we can put the car in it come winter , so of course, it has been positively balmy here since then :).

Mummylin · 18/01/2017 09:23

Hope the visit from hospice lady goes well today and they can. Offer you a weeks stay or something, will be good for you to be looked after and built up a bit.keeping my fingers crossed that they will have a vacancy for you to take.

Hope everything goes well today, Zombie ...

BathshebaDarkstone · 18/01/2017 12:06

Yes Roses l live very close to it. It's brand new though, the old one's being turned into flats. It's huuuuuge! I buy everything there now. I have to go every day anyway as we've always run out of something, I might as well have breakfast and use the free WiFi! Grin

BathshebaDarkstone · 18/01/2017 12:17

Looked for DD's jumper again, yet again none in age 10 Sad, had a large caramel latte and a big breakfast in the Sainsbury's café, did a quick shop, bought my red nose and sparkly badge (too early?), back home, having a Brew and watching Four in a Bed.

Hope the visit from Hospice Lady goes well Z. Smile

OhTheRoses · 18/01/2017 12:39

Gosh Baths I remember it being new in about 1990!!!!

MalcolmTuckersOmniShambles · 18/01/2017 12:48

Afternoon all! Been rather a 'brisk' morning here too, although nothing like -6!!! I think it was around 2c when I took eldest DD to school, but that was bad enough.

Fid, I was wondering about the rat. You have my heartfelt sympathies. The very thought of it is enough to make me shiver deep into my boots!

Mrs Beverley (I think, apologies if I have it wrong) what a GORGEOUS dog! I am really missing having one, but have two under 2, so think it would be fairer to all concerned if I wait until they go to school, when I can do lovely long walks in our nearby forest and all the doggy training that's needed. I do keep looking longingly at the ones I see though!

Oh, and I don't know how to bold people's names! I'm on the iPhone app, can anyone help me?

Zombie, I truly hope you are getting as much (comfortable) rest as possible. I have been thinking of you.

PS I LOVE marzipan!!!

cozietoesie · 18/01/2017 13:34

Malcolm when you go to post you should see three little boxes at the bottom left under the text box. (But above the keyboard.)

(I'm going by the iPad screen here - fingers crossed it's broadly the same.)

Those boxes give you the MN emojis, the bonding/italic/underlining etc and the 'attaching photos'. To 'bold' words, hit 'T' and then further hit the 'B'. (You hit the 'B' again (or whatever you were using) to cancel out the changes from future text.) The letter will change colour if it's operative and then change back to clear when it's not.

Why not have a look and then experiment? Smile

cozietoesie · 18/01/2017 13:36

bolding. ( My autocorrect was just reminding me of its presence.)
