Susie I'm wrestling with 3 quarters of the flooring in the house that have been fucked by the builders, compounded by a leak from a loo cistern so carpet and vinyl have been compromised and the ceilings downstairs need redoing.

When I find my yarn stash, making a square will be a very welcome distraction.

I sent some really rubbish squares years ago and K and P really can work miracles.
I think it's key to leave the blocking to them, just make sure you sew your ends in

My brother's dog has tetanus!
But apparently that is not as bad as it sounds in dogs (and very rare) and after having a toe amputated, she is fine.

Oh B3 so sorry to hear about your building troubles, that sounds absolutely awful, especially the ceilings, you can't do much to put a room to rights if the ceilings still need work.

I remember being stranded overnight in Dublin airport with crowds of drunken Icelanders, it took me about a week to recover.
