dd's dvd player won't play the disc's just says bad disc(and yes I have tried smacking the disc) do you think it is broken.
I got her another one today(£17.99-sainsburys lovely small one)
but don't want to bin it if it can be sorted.

Have you tried it with lots of other discs? Our dvd player does this from time to time, but often when we turn it on & off again it goes fine

tried loads
It is only a year old and hardly used. but had to rush out and get another one as he is into watching herself at hindleap warren(she hides at the scarey bit when she is on the zip wire)

My DD's has started doing this - I've tried with lots of discs - no joy...

She went 2 years running. was brill. she has cp so is in a wheelchair ao wonderful. she got SO muddy
