dd (10) has a had 25 pound of her birthday money in her purse, she kept playing with it. I kept telling her not to as she would lose it.

She has lost it.

Why did I know this would happen?

Am I going to replace it?

Hell no!

With you on the hell no!

I remember losing money like that

My poor mum must have been through hell with me I lost and forgot everything (still do!!)

My 14 y/old DS loses everything. I have stopped trying to replace them. I am hoping the deprivation will teach him to be more careful.

Besides, I am still paying for one of his new phones which he lost after a month of having it. I will be paying for it for another 6 months

With you on the 'hell no!'

Although as I am evil mummy I would have already nicked the money and kept said child in suspense for about a fortnight thinking they had lost it.

mb EVERY TIME
This happens with ours
It will be somewhere - replace it HELL NO!

in the end she found it.

She had moved it to another purse.

This after about an hour of wailing, 'I haven't touched the money for 2 weeks' (big fat fib!)
