Just thought i'd post this incase it's available anywhere else.
My mom went for a swimming lesson at our local baths yesterday (sutton coldfield), and picked up some leaflets about free swimming for kids.
Basically if your child is between 4yrs and 16yrs they can go swimming for free. It starts in July and runs until some time 2005 when their pass will be reissued once they have passed a swimming test. Suppose they want to see that they have actually learnt something.
Hopefully this is happeneing everywhere and not just in Brum.
