Didn't put this on special needs or behaviour and development as it isn't advice I am after.

I am just intrigued about how children acquire language.....I should know about this (touched on it at uni....LOL) but DS's new found speech is intriguing me and I would love to know a bit more!

TIA

No advice on websites, but the local language acquisition expert recommends David Crystal's "Listen to Your Child" and "Pathways to Language:
From Fetus to Adolescent" by Karmiloff and Karmiloff-Smith as books for interested laypeople.

Stephen Pinker "The Language Instinct" Read that years ago before having ds1- didn't realise I would have a child without any langauge instinct.
