If you get a phone call from an unknown mobile number 3 nights running from someone who hangs up as soon as you answer the phone, can you trace it?

Have u tried calling it back?

I wouldn't think so. They could trace it, but I don't think they would be allowed to share that info with you. Sounds like a pain though...

Have done a 1471 and they're not blocking calls, but the mobile is switched off. I meant to call back in the daytime, but keep forgetting.

I see, so you have the number now. I'm ashamed to confess one of my friends get a lot of calls from my mobile without me realising... it was set up to dial her number when X number was pressed and... it kept happening depending on the position my phone was in relation to other heavier items in my bag

I didn't realise of the problem until she rang me to say she has heard a full argument between Dh and I and... she couldn't use her line because of that

No this one is from a mobile number I don't recognise, I'm pretty sure it's none of my friends. I also think they wouldn't hang up - they'd say "oh I'm phoning you, am I? Meant to phone someone else..."

Virgin Media have at last answered my call btw. Only took 20 minutes. [rolls eyes]

Oh I had this for about a month. Every week day at 3.45! Then it just stopped [hmmm]
