OMG

First period since c-section! Clots the size of golf balls, waking every hour to change saturated pads, can't stand up without feeling like Niagara Falls is happening in my pants!

Not sure how much is too much? Can't remember it being this bad last time . If I went to the doctors/hospital would they even do anything?

BuggerOffDailyMirror
I'm so glad you're ok.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Flowers

BuggerOffDailyMirror · 17/11/2016 11:30

Fenced, no baby, I've never had children and now most likely can't carry a child to term. They still don't know what caused the tissue to be there and it's being investigated. Have you called yet?

trufflepiggy · 17/11/2016 11:31

OP just call 111 to check. What's the worst that can happen by calling them now instead of later?

BuggerOffDailyMirror · 17/11/2016 11:32

Thanks guys but I don't want to hijack this thread, lets focus on getting this bloody OP to call someone then I'll update you all once she's had some professional attention. :)

SurelyYoureJokingMrFeynman · 17/11/2016 11:33

I've reported this thread to MNHQ in case it gets a bit stressed.

MNHQ are welcome to delete this post if it counts as troll-hunting, but Message Poster isn't working so I can't do this privately.

So I'd just like to point out that OP seems to be a fairly new poster, posting about a very dramatic subject that was recently well-publicised, and refusing to get RL help. It may make other posters very involved and distressed.

Fenced, if your thread is real, then apologies. I think you've had the advice you needed from MN: please do take it and seek real life help.

confusedandemployed · 17/11/2016 11:33

Fucks sake woman what's it going to take for you to take the advice on here?

Porkswordcallingdannyboy · 17/11/2016 11:33

Yes, Fenced, they will do something. They may save your life. Please just call. Right now.

happydays00 · 17/11/2016 11:33

Gaaaaah, fenced please JUST CALL!!!!! I'm getting so frustrated - why the reluctance to call 111?

BuggerOffDailyMirror · 17/11/2016 11:39

Have you called OP?

Fenced · 17/11/2016 11:39

Honestly, it's calmed down. I think I'm fine! Thank you for replies!

(I think I should have started a thread called 'tell me about your first post partum
Csection period' ) - honestly, thought this was pretty common.

What happened to the other poster was dreadful, but I don't think this is like that.

Thank you for all your replies and concern, if it gets worse or bad again I will go to the doctor or call them.

Smile

Than you, surely

Fenced · 17/11/2016 11:40

Fwiw - I'm not new, just haven't been on the site in years and also had no idea about the other poster!

OP posts:
SurelyYoureJokingMrFeynman · 17/11/2016 11:41

Fenced, you need to let a real-life medic make that decision.

BuggerOffDailyMirror · 17/11/2016 11:43

The advice is if you're burning through a pad an hour, call someone. You're doing that, you need to call.

In all likelihood, they'll say not to worry and it's all fine but you could also be me. That's what 111 are there for, to tell you if you need help or not. You can't make that call yourself. Fuck if I'd thought the same I'd be dead.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 17/11/2016 11:44

It's so quick and easy to run through your symptoms on the phone to 111...

CaesiumTime · 17/11/2016 11:44

You also said "clots the size of golf balls."

That is not normal.

BuggerOffDailyMirror · 17/11/2016 11:49

I'm twitching and can't leave this thread alone, OP have you called?

SpringBail · 17/11/2016 11:54

Please get help, I've had sepsis and felt OKish but I was encouraged to call docs and I'm glad I did as you can deteriorate very quickly and there is no harm in calling 111 for advice as clots the size of golf balls is not normal.

HummusForBreakfast · 17/11/2016 11:54

Not normal, especially;y seeing the size of the clots.

Have you rung yet?? You really need to, at least to be sure its nothing serious and you are not getting anaemic.

PLEASE RING EVEN IF YOU THINK ITS NOTHING

Fenced · 17/11/2016 11:56

Clots have reduced to a normal size! Pad not soaking through anymore.

Please can someone start a first period after csection thread for me?

I'm fine! It's not like the other poster!!

Thank you for replies!

OP posts:
QueenMortificado · 17/11/2016 11:59

Christ threads like this are so ridiculous

Why did you bother to ask for advice if you're going to ignore it?

Fenced · 17/11/2016 12:01

Because, I thought people would just post and say 'yeah, mine was like that'!
And appreciate my funny title :-)

Had NO idea of the very serious situation that happened recently!

I didn't expect the thread to be like this!

OP posts:
SuperFlyHigh · 17/11/2016 12:02

Agree with Queen if you need to ask here whether to see doctor/hospital why ask for advice if you will ignore it and surely that is not normal??!!

QueenMortificado · 17/11/2016 12:03

But someone has said "mine was like that, and I nearly died"

So why aren't you listening to her and the other posters?
