We're heading off to Majorca next week and while I think that I have got everything covered I would really welcome any tips. Its our first time taking our 2 year old away for a beach holiday.
And I'm a bit paranoid in case I forget something vital.So...any ideas?

Bath mat! I know it sounds over the top but slippy baths stopped my 20m from getting in, and after days of sand, juice, ice cream etc she really needed one. She'd only get in if on my lap in the end. You can buy non slip stick-ons to put in the bath, easier to pack! Have Fun.

P.S. Blackout sheet and clothes pegs to hang over curtain always works a treat for us. Never go anywhere without it.

Oooo - I love lists.....
Hats with flap at back (one wet one dry), 2 or 3 swiming costumes, suncream, aftersun, brolly or sunshade(for the buggy or beach), rug for the beach, Piriton syrup (antihistamine - excellent for heat rash or any reaction to insect bites etc.), calpol, plasters, antiseptic wipes and cream, jelly sandals (excellent for paddling or walking on hot sand), old T shirts for keeping sun off shoulders even in the pool, weetabix (or whatever the favourite cereal), bottle of squash (surprising how many countries don't sell it!!), favourite cuddly toy, pegs & washing line (for getting costumes dry), inflatable ball for the beach or in the pool

Cheers for the tips.I think I've thought of most things like suncream, hats, first aid kit etc.I'm taking one of those sun tents that are always advertised in the blooming marvellous catalogue.I thought at the least it would be ok for nappy changing on the beach.I've got a canopy for the buggy.I've got the piriton, calpol etc...
I can't believe how much stuff we have got to pack! Gone are the days of travelling light when it was just dh and myself!!
I digress here, but I have spent most of today trying to buy sandals for ds,unsuccessfully. What are the shoe manufacturers thinking of? The only sandals that I could have got for my 26 month old were the kind of thing you would put on a 10 year old. So a beach holiday beckons with NO sandals!!
I would never have thought of packing a blackout curtain. How well organised is that?! Top tip!!
