So, today I managed to bake a cake and clean the carpets, go and cheer DH & DS on a SportingEvent, watch a cracking firework display, get rather wet.

Fact I have learned:

1. THE CARPET CLEANER IS VERY LOUD!!!
2. I have no need of a gym for upper-body work-outs - I now have a carpet cleaner and it weighs a tonne
3. OMFG - the colour of the dirty water from the carpets

Oh - LetUs - I came across a pancake stall sellig nutella pancakes today. (I had lemon and sugar though, because nutella is foul all yours, obvs.)

Because you had to get up at 6.30am on a Sunday morning helen - that would make me sleepy

Ah - yes. But I have to get up at 6:30 most mornings anyway And even if I don't have to get up, I get woken up.

I think there's a problem with FB at the moment, as every time someone likes or comments on a post it comes up on all their friends' newfeeds and you can't disable it. I've unfollowed some friends because of this (not wenches). It also stops me liking or commenting on a lot of posts because I know it will come up on my friends' posts and I don't want to annoy them. There's also a privacy issue here. It needs an overhaul.

I never post on my own timeline anyway as I assume that no-one would be interested in my stuff.

It's very frosty here, but no snow yet thank God.

In other news, having cleaned the carpet yesterday, stupid cat threw up on it. I have cleaned the carpet again... and the washing can think itself lucky that in my sleep deprived morning stumble around the chores, I didn't fill the washing machine with carpet cleaner!
