Family Tree, erm, etiquette?

Would you put on a family tree the ex-spouse of someone, with whom they have no children/contact and who has since remarried and had children with someone else?

yes. But I wouldn't put down that they had remarried and had children with someone else.

The only circumstances in which I wouldn't do it would be if it would cause hurt to other members of the family.

Oh sorry I meant that the family member they were once married to is now remarried IYSWIM.

And yes thats what I thought re it being upsetting
