Cycling Proficiency Test

My children really want to cycle on the road. We live in a small city and it would be a great way for them to get around. I don't know aywhere that does this test though - ideas????

does the school not do it anymore?

When i was in year 6 at school we all did it through the school.

I know it still happens in schools in my area.

Lots of local councils run them, usually through schools but not always - have you had a look on your local council website?

according to this newsround site a new test is in the pipeline.

afaik though some schools do it others completely miss out. it's quite bad that it's hard to find one, though i think volunteers run them.

local council website may have more information. I wonder if it is only done at certain schools and not widely advertised.

it really annoys me that it isnt automatically available, i loved the test and cycled to and from high school for a good 2 years before then walking with my mates!
