My dp is presently going on london underground as i type this he's never been before and i'm sitting here worrying about him, i know he'll be fine but he's been worrying about it for the last few days. How easy is it for you to find your way round the underground if you've never been before??

He'll be fine. The only time I got confused was on a bit where the circle/cental and metroploitan lines all come together. Spent 1/2 hour trying to work out where I was going but got there in the end

Thanks,i know he'll be ok, but i can't get through to his mobile to see, lol.

it is quite easy and there are loads of handout maps. There is also a wall thingy where you put in where you want to go and it flashes which station you need to go via etc.

There are also special staff near ticket machines to help you if you get stuck and to offer you route advice.

MrsBadger · 09/02/2007 16:16

he'll be fine

there are always staff about to ask anyway

hannah4danny · 09/02/2007 16:20

that's what i told him if he's not sure ask someone, he's going all the way to birmingham

Will he actually ask though? I my experience men would rather travel around for hours pretending they know where they are going when they are actually completely lost than ask someone for directions or help

Oati · 09/02/2007 16:23

aren't tehre loads of maps on the walls and in the carriages?

hannah4danny · 09/02/2007 16:23

well i told him too it's up to him whether he does that though, lol
