hi,
not really sure if this is the right place to post this... i bought a halterneck top from coast a few months ago for £65 but didnt really go anywhere to wear it (is quite dressy) untill last week, then when i was hanging it up the next morning i noticed that one side of the strap is hanging on by a few threads, i couldnt wear it because it will almost certainly snap, i rang the store i got it from this morning and was told that i could take it in but will only get an exchange for the value of the top as it is now, (probibaly hardly anything as it will no doubt have gone down quite a lot in a few months) im not happy with this as it is quite an expensive shop so anything else i would buy i would have to put loads of extra money into. does anyone know where i stand on this? i used to work in a well known high street shop and we always gave a refund on faulty goods even months after they were bought (aslong as it didnt look like it had been deliberatly damaged).
