I've had a look at some member profiles and identified interests that are common to many. They are as follows:
A liking for Terry Pratchett novels
To be currently reading Gordon Ramsay's autobiography and also to fancy him.
Likes groups like Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Keane et al.
Watches Desperate Housewives.
Likes Marian Keyes novels
Has a thing for crafts like knitting
Fav. films are Dirty Dancing and Truely, Madly, Deeply.

None of the above applies to me and I am therefore a freak.

I'm a freak too

JanH · 07/02/2007 22:44

I like Keane - otherwise am also a freak.

Lots of us like Molesworth books, mind

AitchTwoOh · 07/02/2007 22:45

i am the Anti-MNer if those are the credentials...

JanH · 07/02/2007 22:46

(I loathe Truly, Madly, Deeply - found it buttock-clenchingly embarrassing)

Molesworth · 07/02/2007 22:48

Jan

I loved TMD when I first saw it about 83 years ago, but suspect I would find it embarrassing now

puffling · 07/02/2007 22:48

I want to know what Molesworth books are.

wotzsaname · 07/02/2007 22:51

freak too, anyway, why have you no profile puffling?
what are you keeping from us!!!

puffling · 07/02/2007 22:52

I'm not keeping nothing. I've simply not compiled it yet. I will in due course.

OP posts:
MrsJohnCusack · 07/02/2007 22:58

well I am a freak too

(although would controversially posit that actually liking Coldplay is FAR more freakish)

WigWamBam · 07/02/2007 23:22

I like Keane. But otherwise it's freakdom for me too

Tinker · 07/02/2007 23:25

I can knit. That is the only thing that applies to me. In fact, I'd go so far to say that I loathe most of the other stuff

Aloha · 07/02/2007 23:29

Nah, they are Richard Dawkins fans, want to see Notes on a Scandal, like cooking, have a penchant for cake, but worry about hydrogenated vegetable oils, are bothered by global warming and like Molesworth books.

Tinker · 07/02/2007 23:30

Otherwise, feel less freakish with aloha's list.

Aloha · 07/02/2007 23:32

Down with Skool - very, very, very funny. Illustrations by ronald searle.

Tinker · 07/02/2007 23:34

Thank you. Another thing that's passed me by.

Aloha · 07/02/2007 23:35

Oh my, it's so bloody funny.

DimpledThighs · 07/02/2007 23:36

another freak here - cannot remotely relate to anything on the list!

Molesworth · 07/02/2007 23:37

aloha's list is much better

apart from richard dawkins

Aloha · 07/02/2007 23:39

Ah, but he's SO Mumsnet....that's why I'm here

FotheringtonTomas · 07/02/2007 23:39
