on ds from my gran. I could just pop it in his trus fund but I'd rather get him something from her that is a bit special but what do you get boys? For a girl I would get a charm bracelet (lasts a lifetime, can be added to year by year) but have no boy ideas! Not really silvefr spoon/rattle kind of people.

To be honest I'd put it in the bank so that when he really wants something he can access it. You could use it to buy his first bike or trike or something nice like that.

I've seen them at posh craft fairs-pretty indestructable but beautiful craftsmanship and will last for ever.

Problem with bank fairy is that if I'm perfectly honst it would get swallowed in our finances if it went in my account and if I put it in his fund then he won't b able to use it until he is 18.

To be blunt too I'd like to use it while my gran is still alive, not that she is on her last legs but sh won't last until his 18th that is (almost?)certain!
