Cancelling a holiday

We have a holiday booked for August, total price is £1004, we have paid £250 off so far, the deposit is £500 and is due by March 1st.

So considering we have not yet paid off the full deposit, is it likely that we could get ANY money back from cancelling it?

Depends if you are insured and why you need to cancel I would think.

nope. not a chance.

unless of course as LIZ says- you have insurance, and it depends why you would want to cancel. Of course if its a death etc, then certain insurance policies would cover this.

But you will lose your £250 if you just cancel it for no reason
