Need some quiz night help please!

I have been asked (again!) to set the quiz for adults only quiz night a dc's school.
I'm looking for inspiration for audio sections. So far, in previous quizzes we have done:
National anthems
Identifying foreign languages
Kids TV theme tunes (from our childhood rather than today)
Film themes
TV themes from the 70s/80s
Country music, name the singer
Name the song (from the opening music/intro)

Any inspiration gratefully received

Music, what year?

play snatches of 3 songs all from same year and name the year?

how about snatches of same song by 2 different artists, and name the song and peeformers of the 2 versions?

I was going to say cover versions

Name the ad - play the theme tume from an ad, and see if they can guess the product...

songs used in football chants

maybe a bit special interest

write out the next line to the song...

We have loads of General Knowledge Quiz questions saved from previous quizzes (We do Quiz n Chip nights).

We also have
Food & Drink
Sport
Science & Nature
Geography etc.

Do you have video as well as Audio? we do spot the intro/TV prog etc (& have also done Eurovision music rounds) but have shown clips and asked Q's. Funny ones eg Comic Relief Amarillo DVD and name all the stars etc.

A novel round is guess the year:
You start off with a Question for 10 points. If they think they know then they pass answer in. If right get 10 points, if wrong ZERO and out. Then 8 points, 6 points etc with clues getting easier. When down to last Question tell them to guess anyway. Answer given immediately after everyone handed theirs in. Great fun!

James Bond Theme

List the years, Titles, Bonds, Theme Tunes & Singers and match them all up (or some of these, or fill in the gaps).

Give out real names to guess stage names (pop stars etc).

guess the song and artist from some lyrics always goes down well at our quizzes

We did a 'taste test'.
Trays with about 10 food items on and you had to taste them and guess what they were. One of them was a well known brand of tinned meat pie filling. Most people thought it was dog food!

Also - pictures of slebs & you have to write who they are. Pick some more obscure ones rather than the Heat/Big Brother/Soaps fodder

With the food tasting, what sort of stuff?
We do a photo board (also did a logo sheet and blank monopoly board!)

Not sure if we have video but will keep that in mind.

I think I have a Eurovision cover versions LP somewhere - oh the shame - but could be a laff

We've done crisp taste tests before. You get 10 numbered bags with a crisp for each person in and you have to guess the flavours.

What about plying a song whilst watching the video to a differnt song. They then have to name song in video and artist they heard.
