Due to have a haircut tomorrow before going off on hols next week. Would normally get highlights done now, but should I wait until I get back from hols (and if so why?). Many thanks

doent hair go yellow int he sun?

Bunglie · 10/06/2004 19:51

I thought it was blue due to chlorine in swimming pools!

codswallop · 10/06/2004 19:51

I dont dye yet so I dont know

Bunglie · 10/06/2004 19:52

Just been told that chlorine can turn bleached hair GREENISH, so I should have herbal highlights, whatever those are, only repeating what I have just been told.

Bunglie · 10/06/2004 19:54

Codswallop, I don't either but I do keep finding a grey hair, everytime I pull it out I am sure it grows back thicker, so I have given up!

Hightlights can go greenish it's true - can you find an Aveda salon near you - the use a highlighting technique which I believe is plant based so might not discolour....
bon chance!

Why would you wait? Sorry, no idea why you're supposed to (if you are, where did this come from?) but I'd always have mine done before I went away and it wouldn't occur to me not to.
