rhubarb doesn't want a birthday today for reasons of pooey and shitty.

i think its incumbent upon us to make sure this does not happen.

Thank you lovely peeps! I am feeling much brighter now because my dh did THE loveliest thing for me EVER!

He and my sister colluded and got back from the wicked witch that is my mum, my lifetime collection of Arthur Conan Doyle books. He arranged them all on a new bookcase he had bought with candles and stuff!

Bestest pressie ever ever ever!

You've no idea how much those books mean to me and I've been feeling so miserable thinking that if my mother remembered she had them she'd burn them. Looks like he rescued them just in time too as my family are due another major kick-off.

But I don't care!
