Got to get the boy noticed

Right, I know how annoying it is when parents go on about their babies being the most beautiful in the world (well it bugs me anyway), but the thing is, my little lad (10 months) really is a looker. Strangers on the street keep telling me he should be on telly/books/magazines etc, and I've not really thought much of it. Thing is, I've just been made redundant, so I reckon its time to make some money out of the little bugger. Does anyone have any advice as to how I go about it? We live in Swansea, South Wales and I tryed all (3 of) the local model agencies and they're all 'adult' agencies. Where is this stash of generic babies that pampers/huggies/johnson etc keep using, and how do I get my boy in?

Tossum, this page has some modelling threads.

Do not consider any that ask you for money for taking photos though. V important. They might get you work but the relationship seems to be v different.

His Tossum

DD is a model & she is 10 months too.We were stopped by people every time we went out & they always commented on how beautiful she was.I enquired with a local agency that I knew had a good reputation & to my surprise, got her first job a week after sending in her pictures.

One thing to bear in mind,is that agencies are looking for easy going good natured children,as there can be a lot of getting dressed/undressed & hanging about. In fact dd's 1st job was a fitting for babyclothes & I am sure that it was a 'test' to see how she got on.She is used as a fitting model for NEXT & is in the current Cosatto catalogue too.

I second Janh,do not have anything to do with anyone who asks for money for a portfolio ect.If your child has potential, the agency will be making money from them anyway.I have hard that Models Direct have a bit of a reputation for this.

We are in the midlands,so can't help with referring you to an agency, but the one DD works for supply models to Boots,Adams,NEXT,the Clothes Show,Cosatto ect.

Good Luck & if you have an other questions, just ask.
